Animal Index & pets

Hatch an egg, read the animal’s name, then open Index to claim a discovery reward. Use Pets to inspect your collection and equipped animals.

6 documented hatch, Index or collection observations; 6 additional egg/role records. Not a complete roster. Gameplay: 2–4 Sep; reviewed 5 Sep 2026.

How to use the Animal Index

01

Open the ready egg

Finish its timer and read the result. A Pony egg opening is followed by a named Pony in the recorded run.

02

Look for the discovery

Chicken is explicitly reported as discovered in the Index after the opening hatch. A named carried egg alone is not a discovery.

03

Open Index and claim

The Pony discovery is followed by an Index reward claim. Claim what is available; this guide does not promise a fixed reward amount.

Observed Pets entry

Box Fish

In the September 4 run the creator names Box Fish while removing equipped animals in Pets. This establishes a collection-management observation, not which egg produced it. The older September 2 egg naming remains insufficient to assign a hatch result.

Named eggs & roles still unresolved

These observations stay available, but do not count toward the documented animal set.

Polar Bear

Role unknown · Egg return

A Polar Bear egg is described as taken from an upper snowy section and returned. The nearby bear is mentioned, but this excerpt does not establish the hatched animal identity.

Replay 04:33–05:03

Gorilla

Role unknown · Egg return

The creator abandons a Divine search and decides to bring back a Gorilla egg. The named egg is not proof of a completed Gorilla hatch.

Replay 06:16–06:34

Capybara

Role unknown · Uncertain origin

A Capybara egg is named; later the creator is unsure which egg produced a Capybara and a large displayed value. Do not turn that uncertainty into an income record.

Replay 06:48–06:50; 07:43–07:58

Seal

Role unknown · Egg return

After returning to the base, the carried item is identified as a Seal egg and put down. No Seal hatch is confirmed in this excerpt.

Replay 08:38–08:55

Triceratops

Role unknown · Egg return

A dinosaur pursuit is followed by a Triceratops egg being placed. Later Index commentary is tentative, so it is not promoted to a confirmed hatch.

Replay 09:10–09:38; 10:12–10:22

Giraffe

Role unknown · Egg return

The creator returns a Giraffe egg and later opens a named Giraffe egg. The caption does not cleanly identify the resulting animal field.

Replay 11:21–11:36; 12:56–13:04

Guardians are not collection entries

Roblox confirms that giant animals guard eggs. A nearby bear, dragon or dinosaur is not proof that you hatched that animal. No named guardian is counted in the collection examples above.

Fire Phoenix is a title-only research lead in an older creator video, not a confirmed hatch, spawn location or income entry.

Why the title alone is not enough →
Pets and equipped space

Unequip is not the same as sell

The September 4 creator opens Pets, discusses additional equipped space, removes Pigeon and Box Fish, then discusses selling separately. Later, a Pigeon is placed again.

  1. Open Pets and identify what is equipped.
  2. Check the animal’s Index discovery before changing your setup.
  3. Distinguish unequipping from selling; do not treat a collection-management action as a hatch result.

Best animals?

No honest ranking from mixed account values

The same creator cannot confidently tell which egg is better. We do not convert egg size, an isolated cash number or another account’s boosts into a best-animal recommendation.

Comparable income, rarity, size, equipment and current update state are needed together. The existing game’s Equip best control is observed, but its selection formula is not verified here.
